Wedding Weekend - Part 3

I had previously mentioned this wedding series would have two parts...I was wrong, it will have three parts, maybe even four.
Dad and I holding the little girls...such sweethearts :)
We all had a lot of fun...

Everybody was loving the dance floor.

Look at the excitement on Ayden and Abby's faces...and how formal they dance with each other ;)
 Amy and Ayden working it...

It looks like it was difficult to get Ayden & Abby to stop for a picture.
By the way, good work Mom on switching up the angle on this photo :)

 I my nieces and nephews.

 The girls were getting tired...
Saturday night was a good night...always special to be able to spend time together.

Wedding Weekend - Part 2

Ayden has some mad dancing skills...he was our entertainment for the evening.  I was very impressed with his moves...I think we all were :)  He didn't even need anyone to dance with...perfectly content dancing on his own...I love it.

Wedding Weekend - Part 1

My cousin got married this past weekend...an opportunity for me to photograph the little ones more :)  I am making this a part 1 and part 2 ~ I think if I posted all of the pics in one post, it would be overwhelming for you...or maybe just overwhelming for me.
 Cheers!
love these little ones...so sweet.
 Family picture time ♥
I couldn't decide between color and black & white...so I just posted both versions.  also, I may have gotten a little excited with the color editing...but I like it :) and the lighting wasn't that great, so I couldn't just leave them...they needed work.
 What an adorable family :)

Ruby is not a happy camper in the next two pictures...she wants to sit on Mommy's lap instead of Amelia...so, in her mind, the best solution would be? Obviously, to smack Amelia.

Emery giving Papa some love
And of course, we all missed Angie, Chad, Oliver, & Palmer very much...would have loved for you to have been there...more pictures to come.

Hitting the Jackpot with Slippers

I was looking through my archive of pictures & came across the ones I took of Ruby when she received her new slippers from me for Christmas.
She loved them instantly.
The picture on the left displays her joy when the slippers were put on.
The picture in the middle displays her sadness when she thought someone was taking them off of her feet.
The picture on the right - back to being happy and showing her slippers off :)
I just wanted to give myself a reminder that I hit the jackpot with her and Emery's presents (Emery got the slippers too and loved them as well).
I think I even got a phone call from Emery so she could tell me she was wearing her slippers...so sweet :)

My Last Day

Naturally, we spent the last day of my trip at the beach ~ because it was my ALL time favorite...everything about it is beautiful.
We took lots of pics...
On the way home, we drove by some donkeys and I got really excited...so once again, we had to stop for a little photoshoot...and the lighting was perfect.
My trip was great...so hard to leave :(
(*Note to self: clean the lens before you start snapping away)

Glassblowing

We had some time to kill before lunch with a friend, so we stopped to check out the Orange Beach Art Center.
One of Dusty's friends does glassblowing and we were able to watch him make a couple of things...so cool.
If you wanted, you could pay to have Sam help you make an ornament to take home...
Some of the color options...
 One of the finished products...
The Art Center was a really neat place...

Fun-Filled Day

I was slacking on picture taking early in the day...I hate when I do that.  Anyways, Millie (Dusty's mom) and I went to the pool for a couple hours when we woke up...it was nice to spend some time with her.
After lunch, Dusty & I went to the Orange Beach Rec Center...once again, I was slacking with the camera and didn't take ANY pictures.  We had lots of fun though, we played...
  •  basketball (I beat him 3 times playing HORSE...but I did go to the same spots every time to shoot since I knew I could make them...maybe cheating a little?)
  • tennis (Dusty was much better than I was expecting and I think this was our favorite part of the day)
  • ping pong - loved it
After our active morning and afternoon, we decided to grab a green beer since it was St. Patrick's Day.
The Tiki Bar we were at...Purple Parrot
The below picture is for mom - this is the lady wearing the one size fits all shirt.  She sure was having a good time ~ she loved dancing :)
We also met some new friends :)  They were hilarious and a blast to hang out with...

This day was a really good day ~ variety of activities & lots of fun.

A Day at the Office

Dusty had some people he needed to interview for work, so I tagged along and "helped" him.
No really though, I think I may have been of some help ~ I helped with the set-up and clean up of equipment, bounced light into the interviewee's face, and was a stand-in so the camera could be adjusted and ready.
Each person we interviewed was so nice and friendly (our first subject even has a show on HGTV).
I didn't get pictures at every location ~ but we did shoot 3 different segments.
After the interviews, we headed to Mellow Mushroom for lunch.
I ♥ their pizza - would highly recommend it.
After lunch, we went to the office to download the footage and then to the beach...I love it here - being so close to the beach is great.
Walking up and down the beach with the water at your feet is my favorite.
After being in the sun for a bit, we went to the Hangout for happy hour...Miller High Life was the only thing on special, so we went for it.
Old school lunchboxes on the wall...
We had a really rough day at the office :)
