Driving Cross-Country - Minot to Little Rock

The big day came when it was time for me to head down to Orange Beach...this is my first time leaving North Dakota and I was nervous/sad, but so excited about this new chapter in my life.
Anyways, we tried to take pictures along the way to show how pretty everything was...
 North Dakota

 Black Hills, South Dakota
While driving through South Dakota, we saw signs for Wall Drug basically every 100 feet (not even exaggering that much) for 35 miles.  Maybe this over-excessiveness is effective, because it worked on us and we decided Wall Drug must be a place you cannot miss.
Our experience at Wall Drug.
Back to driving...

We made lots of pit-stops on the drive to help break it up a little.  One of our pit-stops was a casino and we left with a $40 profit, which paid for our hotel room for the night.  We booked it using Travelocity Secret Hotels (would highly recommend it)...you get rooms for super cheap - who doesn't love that?
We accumulated lots of bugs on the drive...

We finally made it to Arkansas.
Arkansas is gorgeous...lots of beautiful trees, but the weather is scorching :)
I know I need to get used to the heat, but right now I'm finding it rather miserable.
